Set up the automation
Salesbot is a bot within AmoCRM that you can program to perform specific actions. For example, if you have a customer's contact but haven't communicated with them yet, you can use Salesbot to initiate a conversation.
Here, we'll explain some simple steps: how to send a message using Salesbot to all customers who reach a certain stage in a deal.
How to Create a Bot:
- Go to the 'Deals' section → open the relevant pipeline → click 'Customize' in the top right corner.
- Click on an empty cell under the stage where the bot should trigger upon transition → select 'Salesbot.'
- The bot settings will open. Choose: - The event (trigger) that should activate the bot.
- The time when it will be launched.
- You can also add a condition for the bot to send a message to the contact in the deal.
- In our example, the bot will be triggered when a deal is moved to the 'Negotiations' stage. It will activate for all deals moved to that stage.
- Afterward, click '+ Create a new bot.'

- The bot editor will open. From the 'Your Bots' panel, select 'Create your own bot.'
How to Set Up the Bot for Sending Messages:
Important! Salesbots send messages to all existing chats with the customer. For instance, if you've messaged a customer from two different WhatsApp numbers, they will receive the same message on both numbers simultaneously.
- In the 'Next Step' list, choose 'Send a message' or 'Initiate communication.' - The 'Send a message' step doesn't create new chats. It sends a message to all existing ones. If a contact's card includes a number you haven't messaged before, the message won't be sent to that number.
- The 'Initiate communication' step creates a new chat with the customer if you haven't messaged them on the specified numbers before. It also sends a message to all existing chats.
- If you choose the 'Initiate communication' step, a list of channels from which you can send the message will appear.

- Write the message for the customer.
- Choose 'Stop the bot' as the next step.
Your bot will look something like this:
